Event Description

Now June 17 - Adelaide Cyclists winter ride 2

Meet at 8am at Cibo CBD (cnr Rundle and Frome) or earlier if you want a coffee before and ride to Glenelg to pick up at the Buffalo at 8.30am then West Beach, Semaphore and Outer Harbour.

We will pause at the Buffalo to remember Gordon Boheme, the volunteer marshall who was killed a few weeks ago at Outer Harbour. Many might want to ride in his memorial peloton so we will get to Osbourne by 9.35 for the beginning of the memorial.

If you want to ride the 2 loops of the Outer Harbour course stay there or ride back to Semaphore for a coffee at the playground kiosk at Semaphore for coffee then ride back.

The pace will be a relaxed one. It's a chance to come out and meet other members and keep the winter chills away.

This is an unassisted social ride. You should have your own insurance, helmet and spares.

Comment by Darren on June 7, 2012 at 17:04: Unfortunately I can't be there because I'm participating in the Right Royal Fun Run on the 17th... note that the 10km route heads off from Corner of West Lakes Boulevard and Fredrick Road at 8:30am and uses the south lane of Military Road - I'm unsure what traffic controls will be in place but please keep this in mind.
