Event Description

You have the opportunity to join 20 Adelaide cyclists on the final leg of their 900Km Ride4Repat. This leg is from Tailem Bend and is thru Wellington, Strathalbyn (lunch or brunch) Echunga, Mylor, Crafers and back to "The Repat".

Ride the whole leg or meet us part way… We just ask that you make a tax-deductible donation of $70.00(or more if you like!) to the Foundations.  You will receive a coveted ‘Ride4Repat’ jersey and 'Goody Bag' of donated products. Please note 100% of your donation goes to the Foundation as the jersey etc is supplied by one of our sponsors.

Ride4Repat is fundraising bike ride 19-25 March from the Repatriation General Hospital, Daw Park to Mount Gambier and back. We aim to raise $25,000 in support of the Daw House Hospice Foundation and Foundation Daw Park to help them provide vital service for palliative care, Veterans’ rehabilitation and mental health programs.

Can't join us on the day? Dont worry... you can still support these important causes by making a donation at www.everydayhero.com.au/ride4repat

@CWL -sorry, DD and I are working to the K.I.S.S. principle on that day. Good luck with the ute.

@Colin, can you flick me an email to ray.morris@health.sa.gov.au, I am wanting to share your jersey payment options/details, so will send this back to your email account. IF you have already made this payment (I cannot view those who have or haven't made the payment), then perhaps just email me to confirm that. Many thank, mate.

Thanks Derek and Colin. I am fine with just going as far as Strath, and its a decent place to pull up and scoff some bakery treats.

AVO - I was thinking of home-Crafers-Mylor-Echunga-Macclesfield-Strath (ie from Aldgate to Strath via the same route we did with ZZ a few months back). Its about 60km so shouldn't take more than 2 1/2 hrs. If we left the Tollgates at 8am that should give plenty of time, with a bit spare in case of mechanicals. Sound OK? Lets hope its not 40 degrees!

Jeremy, we are planning to leave Tailem Bend at 0730,  However that may go out to 0800 given that it is the final morning, Travel is via Wellington and then to Strath. we estimate to be at Strath at probably 1100 at the latest. (we may be held up at the Ferry.  We are required to be at the REPAT by approx 1400-1430 so it will not be a hectic pace .  We shall talk a bit later and keep all of those who have indicated that they may join us, advised. @DD, will be riding down that way as well - how early do you want to leave?

Chaps any idea when you might be leaving Tailem Bend and when you will be passing through Strath? Its probably going to take 2-2/12 hrs for me to ride down to Strath so just need to work out how early I leave home

Jerseys are made by Seight, so the measurements I gave are from their own size-guide that all the riders are following. So I have put you down for the 'small' size out of the extras available. THANKS mate.

thanks for that ray i would be a small going by your measurements, but sometimes i get a med when i do events it depends on who made the jerseys.
