It's that time again - the longest day of the year!

Meet at Bocelli's in Hutt Street, pootle up to the highest elevation point near Adelaide for the sunset at 8:29pm and howl at the moon or do whatever satisfies your inner druid!

Return via Old Freeway to Bocelli's.

Good lights essential.

Ride at your own risk with your own insurance.

NOTE: Comments posted that are not relevant to this ride may be moderated.

UPDATE: Our resident AC ride hijacker Clive will be leaving the Tollgates at 6:45pm for those wanting a shorter ride or more time to pootle up to the Summit. All roads lead to Lofty!

BTW Rob, you did a great job riding your Hummer of a mountain bike up Mt Lofty!  That would've put muscles on your muscles!

Yes, that was Rick who was there giving encouragement and company on the way up.

Thank you AVO for orgainizing that ride.  It was great to meet even more ACs and to put faces to avatars.  Thanks everybody who came along and especially Clive for the encouragement by hijacking the ride. It was lovely to see the sun setting on the longest day of the year. Yes the ride down was great!!  It always makes the going up worthwhile.

A nice ride down, a sufferfest going up, I think the hi jackers got their timing perfectly and I even picked up a refugee on the way. So is anybody planning any other hi jackable events.

Awesome turnout tonight. I am knackered after that. great ride up the hill with The Dark Horse. Xmas night time shoppers all driving safely, mild night. just about perfect/

No joining the hijack by me, as I'll not be attending the ride.  Intending to summit, but avoiding the smelly highways and by-ways.  Up through Belair NP to Crafers.
