Comment by Phil Crick on June 30, 2012 at 13:49 I may have crashed on the way to the start, but at least we didn't get wet and wind wasn't bad.
Comment by Patrick O'Kane on June 30, 2012 at 11:49 8 brave riders had an Education this morning including on on a single speed. Mad man.
Sorry - I am a non-starter. Will have to do this road another day.
Hope all who do ride have a dry and safe day.

Comment by Baron Von Thierry on June 29, 2012 at 21:30 If I don't break a leg getting out of bed in the morning (often happens when it rains) I'll meet you on the bike path at Majors
Comment by colin ware-lane on June 29, 2012 at 21:28 am out of this one, have a good one
Hmmmm... I got very drenched and very cold twice today - not really wanting another one tomorrow as I am about to start 3 weeks leave (TDF and daytime rides!).
That said - the bike is prepped (its been inside all day and doesn't hear the forecasts so it is keen to ride) but I will leave my final decision on ride or not until very early tomorrow morning.
No - I don't take cement. Nor am I belgian.
Comment by Adam Williss on June 29, 2012 at 19:59 I'm a closet backyard meteorologist (don't even think I can spell that properly)... I think that means that I like hack forecasting.
Anyway, the low that is circling below KI will give us a second 'cold pool' that will come over us tomorrow morning - colder than the one this morning, but there is more stability than this morning. Short summary is - expect more of the same as today, but more chance of small hail if anything!
Cement definitely needed! I don't have any waterproofs besides a spray jacket - so I am expecting to get smashed!!!
