Event Description

All bicycle users of Adelaide - This Sunday October 17th 2010 11am

The Bicycle Institute of SA presents - A community ride through the streets of Adelaide, to reflect on our history and celebrate our future as a sustainable living city

Do you want for Adelaide:

Active Transport, Active City, Active Community

Fashion, Fun, Families, Friends and Free-wheeling!

The ride kicks off from Whitmore Square at 11am.

Guest Speaker Stephen Yarwood, Lord Mayor Candidate for Adelaide will say a few words about cycling and the city.

The route will be a 50 min ride around Adelaide's CBD. See it on Google Maps here. End at Botanical Gardens opposite the Zoo. Bring a picnic and enjoy your city! Games and competitions

Dress in your best Spring Cycle fashion.

There are some great prizes on offer and some stuff for the kids too.

Don't have a bike and want to join in? Hire a free one from Bike SA. Click here for details.

This will be a family/community event, open to all riders, on whatever type of bike you want to ride on the day.
