Event Description

Time for another group ride Superstars! We've had a number of requests to hit the Southern Veloway, so this is your chance! If you've never ridden the Veloway, you really should join us for this ride!

Depending on numbers and ability, first port of call will be McLaren Vale for coffee. Personally, if I'm heading this far South for a ride, (I live out North), I always get the urge to go to Willunga and climb that hill! We'll see on the day how the group feels about that extra challenge!

We can always have a couple of Angus's buses pick up riders along the way. My route to get to the Southern Veloway is Salisbury Highway to South Road, then just keep on pedalling down South Rd!

I ride rain, hail or shine, so am looking forward to a good stretch of the legs with some great little challenges.

I hacve added the start point of the New India Market, as there may be parking here for those who require it. It is also the real start of the Veloway I believe.

If you want to wait at Seacombe, that's cool, it is only a few minutes up from the Market, and we can pick you up on the way!

Here's hoping for a great ride!

@Jim Serious? I haven't followed that one, do we need to drop the pave' tyres on the bikes, maybe go the 25mm and drop the pressure!

That, or cyclocross veloway, here we come!

@Patrick, mate, we don't race, and we will ride to the abilities of those who join in, so please, come along! There might be a few breakaways, but we always regather!

@Carla I could be tempted to swing by your way I guess.

I'm a noobie and my Sat'dy morning ride is Sheidow park to McLaren Vale, coffee, then back home. Any further will kill me but i might join in this ride. I'll be the one at the back puffing and panting with wobbly legs.
