If it's a bit damp I'll just ride my tourer with mudguards, if it's pouring at 0700 I'll do a rain check here. If it rains on the way we can cut up Henley Beach Rd and to the city.

Hi all,

I propose a route change. You might have heard that Cyclo Cross is on this weekend at Victoria Park and Anna Meares is making an appearance to meet and greet fans, kids etc.

So I would like to ride from Cibo Rundle St at 8am, The Buffalo for 8.30am and then on to Semaphore where people not interested in, or not able to spend time to get to, CX can go on to Outer Harbour or return.

Anyone who wants to go to CX can join in riding along Port Rd to the CBD and Vic Park (Hutt St/ Sth Tce).

I thought about going to OH and then around and back to Port Rd but if there are headwinds etc we might not get to CX for 1045 (and the coffee car and cupcakes truck).

So all in all it's a ride, maybe not challenging one but gets the legs moving and we can watch CX and meet a gold medal winner.

So see you at Cibo for a double espresso at 8am.

Yes, sorry chaps. It was the 19th but I've needed to make it the 26th (as it is now marked) and the ride is back to an Outer Harbour run because after consultation with the SSRC team the Veloway is not really suited at the moment for this.
